Red Ribbon Week is celebrated to show our commitment to raise awareness of the destruction caused by drugs in America.

Port O’Connor Elementary is PROUD to be drug free. 

Monday October 26th:  “Put Drugs to Sleep!”  It’s Pajama Day.  Wear Pajamas to school

Tuesday October 27th:  “Cowboy Up Against Drugs!” Give drugs the “boot” in your Western Wear.  Dress like a Cowboy or Cowgirl

Wednesday October 28th:  “Drugs are CRAZY” It’s Wacky Day.  Dress in wacky clothes or come as a clown.

Thursday October 29th:  “POC Elementary is VOTING to be drug free!” Dress Patriotic….with red, white, and blue (No Presidential candidate names OR party affiliation can be worn)

Friday October 30th:  “We are Too Smart to Do Drugs!” It’s Literature Day.  Students dress up as their favorite story book character or super hero.

Please remember that all clothing/accessories MUST adhere to the dress code and Facial covering must still be worn.
